N͎e͎h͎e͎m͎a͎ R͎a͎h͎m͎a͎n͎ (Bengali: নেহেমা রহমান) better known as Nehema Rahman or Neen, is a Bangladeshi Gachatuber. She was formerly known for her Miraculous Ladybug and PowerPuff Girls skit animations before she moved onto skits involving her persona. Currently, she primarily makes meme videos usually regarding recent occasions or scenarios.

Nehema had recently gained popularity within the Gacha community due to her crass style of Gacha Club content, often featuring abuse, murder, blood or any other triggering and controversial materials, which have made Nehema widely regarded as one of the most notorious Gachatubers in the entire community.

Nehema has hit a million subscribers on her main channel, making her the 7th most-subscribed Gachatuber, also being one of the most popular Gacha channels in the platform. Despite of this, Nehema is considered one of the most controversial and hated Gachatubers.

History

Content

Nehema started her YouTube channel on June 13, 2020. Her first video was a Gacha Life skit, with the prompt of "what if she met a Karen at a supermarket?". Though unknown when exactly or why, but as of December 2022, it has been taken down.

Following few videos of her now-privatized videos of her Gacha Life Karen skits, she moves onto posting a "would you rather" type video, it's title consisting of questions such as, Mom or Dad?, Me or Ava?, Haters or Supporters? and Chicken or Cat?.

Nehema would then move on from posting Gacha Life skits, and primarily started creating videos depicting characters from popular cartoon shows such as the The Powerpuff Girls and Miraculous Ladybug. As of December 2022, Nehema stopped posting about videos made in Gacha Life and moved to making videos in Gacha Club.

On Febuary 19, 2022, Nehema stopped making Powerpuff Girls and Miraculous Ladybug-related content, instead posting videos covering whatever topic was trending at the time, her persona always present. She would sometimes make Gacha Life videos on other topics.

Mıss Chøcølate

On November 25, 2021, she created her second channel "Miss Chocolate". Likewise as her main account, she's shown to post mini skits with her persona. Currently, their most viewed video on the channel is titled "When the Teacher walk passes you during a Test and says "Recheck the Answer"".

The name 'Miss Chocolate' was coined in due to her loving to eat chocolates and previously used to call her fans "Cute baby chocolates".

She also has a Instagram and TikTok account, which are both named "_._chocolate_._1".

Criticisms

In mid-2021, Nehema was often criticized for creating videos featuring over-exaggeration and unwholesome nature, but worse are her misleading thumbnail utilizing graphic scenarios, recieving a lot of criticism from its viewers. Although, Nehema has made multiple excuses to dismiss criticism and mostly addressed the controversies with insincere comments. This would later make Nehema result in 30+ controversies and criticisms, due to her problematic nature and lack of originality.

Description

Personality

Nehema in her Gacha sketches, is often portrayed to be egotistical, dimwitted and happy-go-lucky. Usually, she doesn't take some situations very seriously and would immediately try her best to make it a better place, but this would eventually fail, mostly cause by her clumsiness. She is often seen as playfully violent as most collaboration videos involving Wise Fox, Nehema has been often seen beating him up almost in the end, likely used for comedic purposes.

Appearance

She has light skin and black eyes with heart pupils. She has black hair tied up in two ponytails with some hair loose. She wears a purple uniform with sleeves covering her shoulders and a black top and a dark purple to blue skirt. She also has a red shoe and a pink shoe with matching socks and a white hair clip attached to her hair.

Relationships

Wise Fox

Throughout their collaborations and interactions seen public, it can speculated that they are both very close. She loves to call him by "Dumb fox". Though unknown if it is true, it's been speculated by viewers that the two could perhaps be dating, due to Nehema crediting only him whenever she was inspired by him.

Flotalendy

Flo often makes rant videos about Nehema, in which she is well-known for. Nehema barely interacts with Flo, but she despises her and would try to defend herself from all evidence that Flo would present regarding to Nehema's deep trouble to the Gacha community. Flo doesn't really hate Nehema, but she would sometimes satirize Nehema's hypocrisy.

She was born and raised in Bangladesh. She is Muslim. Not much information is known about her personal life.

Controversies

As mentioned in the 'About', Nehema recently received thousands of negative responses recently in her videos and has been surrounded with multiple controversies, making her one of the most notorious and controversial GachaTubers. Eventually, Nehema would sometimes try to ignore her issues and would usually never address her disputable behavior.ー Often being the topic of Gacha commentary videos. Primary examples include Flotalendy,「 xZike _RAP 」and so on.

Over time, memes and a consistent joke would be coined by Gachatubers such as Flotalendy, often described as a "Runner" and a "Track-star" and so on, due to Nehema 'running away from her problems'. So far all the controversial subjects Nehema has done are:

Misleading thumbnails

Recently, Nehema was called-out for her inappropriate thumbnails. It is usually triggering, misleading and far from the plot of the actual video. Her video thumbnails often contain sensitive content, such as abuse, gore, murder, etc.

Depicting Gacha Heat

If not triggering enough, some of her video thumbnails recently becomes even more offensive and sensitive, such as:

• In When a girl posts a picture: 😉, the thumbnail depicts a white figure looking at a female figure's breast while she is taking a picture, unaware.
• In My Bestfriend after getting a haircut: 😟, the thumbnail depicts a male character making a sexual facial expression while biting his shirt, exposing his torso.
• In When Fishes Eat Sand: 🤢, the thumbnail depicts a anthropomorphic fish crawling through a field of sand, what's controversial is that the fish's facial expressions having an extremely red blush, accompanied with a drool, being extremely similar to an "Ahegao".

Depicting death of fans

In the thumbnail of When Two People Enter and One can Leave: 😰, it depicts a angry Nehema pulling a chain, resembling to a noose against a white figure suffocating, speculated to be representing Nehema's subscribers due to the text saying "900k", which was Nehema's subscriber count in Mid-July, 2022, the time the video was uploaded.

Following a Gacha Heat Account on Twitter

In Late May, 2023, Nehema made her Twitter account to post her artworks and edits. However, in Flotalendy’s video uploaded on May 21, 2023, titled “@nehema.__saba is publicly following a dedicated Gacha Heat account on Twitter”.

It is explained that on Nehema’s Twitter, her “Following” category (called “Abonnements” in the footage of Flotalendy’s rant), the Gacha Heat account has a profile picture of a red devil girl, whose username is called “SadGachaVivien” , which probably be the Gacha Heat account’s main OC. Although the pinned Tweet may include an animation of their OCs, Flotalendy scrolls down into the Heat account in the footage, and explicit artwork of SadGachaVivien’s main OC can be seen.

Flotalendy states that “This is extremely disturbing to know how easy [SadGachaVivien’s account] is accesible for fans if they want to know what their favorite Gachatuber likes.” and “… this is endangering children into Heat material.” Then, Flotalendy quotes that “with such an impact (implying the large amount of subscribers Nehema has) on the Gacha community, you have to show an example: your thoughts and desicions can affect a lot of people.”

The next day, Nehema responded to Flo that she “didn’t know that the account was a heater.” Nehema stated that in her Twitter, she made a category of what her fans should follow, and she had already unfollowed the Gacha Heat account, marking this situation the very first controversy Nehema resolved without running away. Because of this, Flo decided to privatize the video mentioned above and upload a video about the situation that has already peaked at its resolution.

Content

An example of this rant video uploaded by red bean gacha, in which she tells the viewers that she was triggered by one of her videos titled "My boyfriend just died" because she was annoyed about the fact that the girl (in the meme video) didn’t care about her boyfriend's death. Nehema commented on the rant video claiming that the video was made for those with dark humor, followed by her making a "warning" if she should take down the rant video because the rant features one of her Gacha meme videos. ^[1]

Misandry

A Gachatuber named The Cancel Culture uploaded a rant video^[2] about Nehema making sexist content, alongside pointing out how the creator can act childish and immature whenever facing a problem.

The Cancel Culture points out how in Nehema's video, "What if I turn onto a boy...", the video depicts Nehema expressing sexism against men, or 'boys' in this case, mocking them saying 'boys are the most dirtiest creature on earth', 'some boys are from Jupiter where they get stupider', 'they take bath once in a month', 'sometimes act like monkeys', 'don't know how to eat'.

After the seeing Google's results, Nehema's genderbend converted back to her original self and stated that it's better not to continue as a boy. Nehema commented under said commentary video that the video was a joke, and also confirmed that Google has a brother.

Possible tracing

In January, Nehema was brought up in Flotalendy's rant video, where Flotalendy points out that Nehema could possibly be tracing and not giving the credits to the original creator. She presented screenshot evidences of a image of line-art eyes drew by Nehema and compares it to the original art. The video where she uses the eyes accused of being traced is no longer available, presumably deleted or privatized.^[3]

Joking about COVID-19

During the coronavirus pandemic, in May 17, 2022, Nehema had posted a "relatable" occasion video of her stepping on COVID, where the video shows 'if you see COVID-19 dancing, blow them away' and 'Never step on it or it might kill you'.

The video would promptly receive immediate backlash, many people feeling it was disrespectful and an insult to the people who passed away or were affected heavily because of the virus.

Also, former Gachatuber Starrytchi confronted Nehema about the disrespectful video via a community post. Starrytchi also informed in the post that his parents have died because they were involved to the virus, and called out Nehema for joking about virus.

Suicide Baiting

During 10th of February of 2023, Nehema or 'Neen' posted a video that depicts on an old trend where if you do this, then you die. Neen, instead of doing what the trend does, she depicted to claim su!c1de, showing bl00d on her thumbnail and video, traumatizing viewers, especially the hanging and su!c1de being fake, making this su!c1de baiting. Neen made this, because of ruining her "bl00d drawing talent", which basically isn't a good talent for people that have aimophobia. Flotalendy also posted pictures and proof of the video as it has been taken down a few hours later as it has been demonetized by YouTube.

In the 2nd picture, it seems Nehema doesn't understand the issue between having a Trigger Warning in the title and the difference having it in the video. Bad thing is, Nehema did this later after she posted the video, not caring about her viewers' and subscribers' aimophobia, just like a completely different person. She's defending her bl00d drawing talent and being rude to other viewers and ranters, into thinking they're "dumb" people or "mean" and "rude" people, while what they're trying to do is spread awareness regarding to what she's done, but making rants for her as of 2023 feels now pointless, because it will be impossible for her to learn from all of her mistakes. Even if she does do a new mistake, she will always run from them, so a big recommendation is reporting, which people don't do nowadays, which make gachatubers with a lot of fame get views and clout, which is what Neen wants. Thing is with two steps to report her bl00d and gore videos, including them revolving racism and more and stop giving her attention. When you don't give her attention, she will realise her mistakes (which we all don't think will happen still).

Feud with Adrianexe

Around late 2021, Adrian made a joke-post about him and Meech da peach meeting each other in real life, with Meech taking pictures from Pinterest to show "proof" that the two of them had actually met up in real life. After some time, it was revealed to be a joke, and as a result Nehema became mad about this.

She started threatening him, and proceeded to attempt and expose Adrian and Meech on Instagram stories and use posts on Pinterest.

After a few days after that, Adrian publically expressed that he agrees with Kitpawz's post about Nehema being immature or childish. After Nehema talks to Adrian, she ends up threatnening him. He talks about how much fame he has and how it doesn't matter what Adrian does because his channel is "dying" anyways. ^[4][5]

Responses

Immaturity

Nehema has a very "thin skin" when it comes to ranting comments. Nehema commented on Flotalendy's documentary video of almost of her controversies, only thanking her for the fanart (which was she was drawing in the middle of the documentary) and asking why she can't see Adrian using F words 8-9 against her when she 'didn't' curse in the chat with his voice continuously. This shows confirmation that Nehema didn't care what Flo was saying during the video and only cared about the 'fanart' and how Adrian said the F word.

Rude comment

A commenter named "Ramya sree Devatha" commented asking Nehema (as Miss Chocolate) where's the credit for the original video, Nehema rudely responds that her video is the original and asking her is she dumb.

Flotalendy made a satire video (Rude by MAGIC! playing in the background) responding to this situation and also again, exposed Nehema, by presenting screenshots that she copied videos from other Gachatubers, which encapsulates Nehema not actually being the owner of other meme videos she usually makes.

Racism Allegations

White-washing/Black-washing

In March 11, 2022, Miss Chocolate (Nehema Rahman) uploaded a video in her alt-account entitled When People Whitewash Vs. When People Blackwash 😐. The video receive few backlash from some viewers due to the video involving changes of skin colors. Zike and some GachaTubers made another rant about this meme and started to speak up their opinion about the video. Nehema messaged Adrian saying he is judging her without knowing anything and 'stated' that the video was dedicated towards Sena Rahman, a possible troll GachaTuber that claimed to got "copied" by Nehema herself.

On June 27, 2022, Nehema Rahman uploaded a video entitled How Gacha Oc’s have Babies: 😥 where the video’s thumbnail contained a dark skinned character, while in the video: the character has lighter skin. This video quickly got backlashed by her viewers. Causing even more drama and trigger from the community.

Stereotyping Chinese people

In April 27, 2022, Miss Chocolate uploaded a video entitled When you are the Cameraman of the Worlds Fastest Posing Model from China: 😑, Flotalendy explained to the viewers that the footage first seen in the video depicts a female model wearing casual to sophisticated or modern clothing while being filmed by journalists. However, in Miss Chocolate's video, the Gacha version of the model is wearing a hanfu with red and gold colors together symbolizing good fortune in Chinese culture. It could have been called ethnic stereotyping if Nehema wasn't all aware or see the model beforehand, but she saw how was the model and what she was wearing yet decided to keep the Gacha version the way it was, overly stereotyped. It is speculated that Nehema could be racist against Chinese people, according to some comments by her Chinese audience a lot were offended and call this racist. However, Nehema didn't addressed this issue.^[6]

Stereotyping/Disrespecting countries

United States

On July 11, 2022, Nehema made a video entitled "When you Tell your Friend that You want To visit USA:😰, where the video depicts Nehema saying she wanted visit the U.S.A, this was followed by her friend singing about controversial statements about America. Brief moments later, she changed her mind saying she's not going there. Many people, notably from the LGBTQ+ community, responded to the inconsistent video talking about their life in the USA, saying Americans are supportive towards LGBTQ+ people and not every Americans are like this. The thumbnail depicts an American police pointing a gun at a possibly LGBTQ+ person holding few pride flags, which indicates a hom*ophobic matter.

Australia

On July 12, 2022, next day after the inconsistent USA video Nehema posted, Nehema again posted another stereotypical video regarding Australia; the video is about what people think Australia is. The video depicts a song of a Australian woman singing about her country in a disagreeable manner. Majority of her Australian audiences have commented what Australia really is.

Giving Betty Boop different skin colors

Due to the cartoon character, Betty Boop recently becoming a trend in the Gacha community, Nehema has made multiple videos involving the character. However, Nehema has changed the character's skin color in her video from time to time. Nehema also made a video When Some people say Make betty boop Black and Some people say Make her White: 😕, where two figures are arguing about what Betty Boop's skin color would be. Nehema, instead, gives Betty Boop some white spots on her skin, as if she has vitiligo (a condition where pale white patches develop on the skin). The video somewhat receive backlash, accusing Nehema for still being racist or telling Nehema that the video doesn't make any sense.

Videos regarding children's shows

Despite Nehema's content involves dark comedy, she can make cartoon characters (E.G: Peppa Pig, Dora the Explorer) have very crude and over-exaggerated behavior, although the characters are from G-Rated shows. Like example, from If 7 Year old Dora meets 17 Year old Dora 🙂, the thumbnail depicts a 7-year-old Dora yelling a silhouette, 17-year-old Dora looking like she is smoking a cigarette, but it was revealed to be a lollipop at the end of the video.

False accusations/Threatening

Nehema is also notoriously known for usually falsely accusing and threatening people who make the same type of videos as her, saying if they "copy" her videos, she will put the video into takedown. In April, Nehema accused Yoshiko!! of "stealing" her Gacha meme video idea without giving her credits.^[5] People also criticize Nehema for thinking she is a so-called owner of almost every meme topic she always makes.

'How old my boyfriend needs to be to be my boyfriend' trend

In June 28, 2022, Nehema uploaded a short video of how old her boyfriend must be in order to be her boyfriend. The results of how old the boyfriend must be are "20", the video received backlash from its viewers afterwards. Even Adrianexe responded and got weirded out because Nehema is 16 (at the time) and wanted her boyfriend to be three years older and above. People also called out Nehema because she's a Muslim, meaning she can't date because dating is haram.

Despite Nehema's description about the video that she knew she can't have a boyfriend, she has made multiple meme videos related to her "crush/boyfriend".

Using Technoblade's death for views

In July 4, 2022, Nehema uploaded a video entitled 'When someone says "Technoblade Died": 😡 where she leeches off his death for her own benefit. Nehema also copied Wise Fox's decent memorial video honoring Technoblade's legacy, where Wise Fox also explained in his description that he watches Technoblade and used to love his content. Nehema received heavy backlash from her audience before she later added credits to make people think she got inspired. The video is extremely different comparing to Wise Fox's video, she adds intense background music and a triggering video title, which shows that Nehema is disrespecting Technoblade.^[7] The video also received backlash from some of its viewers. Viewers said that Nehema clearly hasn't watched a single video uploaded by Technoblade.

In July 24, 2022, Nehema made another video involving Technoblade called Some Of My Song Ocs Without Adjustments:, where she again, leeches off his death. The video as well, spark influx of backlash. But two of these videos are concomitantly still better received elsewhere.

Response to Flotalendy

On July 6, 2022. Flotalendy uploaded "Nehema finally responded to me", where she presents screenshots of Nehema answering in her three comment sections. As Flotalendy explained, the first section is mostly about the video where she rants about her video of her wanting to date a person who is four years older than her, Nehema basically explained that it is in her family's sunnah (traditions) and it was basically normal in her surrounding to wish for older men and especially with her religion, she can't have a boyfriend at the moment. However, she had made so many videos regarding her or anyone's boyfriend. In the end, Nehema is a hypocrite.

Narcissism

Because of her 1+ million subscribers, Nehema would thinks she's unstoppable and unbeatable. She even claimed that she 'doesn't' fear anyone.^[8]

Making fun of OC styles in Gacha Club

In July, MiKA Rou uploaded of the video asking if Nehema was making fun of people's OC styles, however, the video was deleted/privatized afterward possibly to stop receiving even more backlash from Nehema's fanbase.

Abuse of power and influence

Due to Nehema's mass of fame, Nehema alone has so much influence, she can easily send her fans to attack anyone "judging" her or insult them privately without anyone knowing and get away with it. ^[9] Other Gachatubers also stated that in their opinion, Nehema has a toxic fanbase, always being very loyal to her and always attacking Gachatubers who make rants about her, often saying they're jealous of Nehema.

Copying

Nehema is clear to be copying other GachaTubers (typically small GachaTubers). An example is Girls with long hair Vs Girls with short hair:😏, it is extremely similar to a meme video, uploaded by Violet17x entitled NEW 👑 Gachalife tiktok edit💞💜✨, it is clear Nehema is copying her because the girl in the video has magenta-purple hair, which shows proof Nehema actually copied her meme video without any credits.

Nehema also stole the oc Nurse Lucy Fawn from a smaller gachatuber, Cookies Wonderland. In Cookie's most popular video, their oc Nurse Lucy is called "Lucy" by one of her patients, and she runs over with a needle, terrifying them. Nehema used Nurse Lucy in one of her videos, and didn't properly credit them, saying that they were from a tiktok, when Cookies doesn't even have it.

Allegations of using bots as subscribers

A small Gachatuber, Ateher created a video entitled "Is Nehema Rahman using bots as subscribers? (WITH PROOF)" where she shows proof that Nehema is using bots as subscribers. According to her live subscriber count, she lost few subscribers for a minute (776,001) before it could change, the subscriber number shot up to "776,096" in just one second. She suspected this is what Nehema is doing due to her pride with having so many subscribers, so she's trying her best to keep the big amount she has due to it doing down.

More backlash

In May 2022 till date, she recently received backlash from her viewers telling her to censor or blur triggering details (E.G blood) seen in her thumbnails or add "Trigger Warning" due to some of her audience having hemophobia (fear of blood) and might cause them to feel uncomfortable or have a panic attack. However, Nehema didn't listen and still makes the same type of video she usually makes, a habit she will continue to maintain whenever she landed herself in serious trouble.

Nonetheless, Nehema would rarely add "TW" which makes some of her viewers think she is improving her content, making it easy for people who have hemophobia^[4], however, Nehema would later post another triggering video without any Trigger Warning notes. This might cause her to receive influx of backlash and hate in the future.

Nehema recently had added a excuse description where she "clarified" that she warns sensitive viewers not to watch her videos if they triggered by it, although this still has sparks backlash from her audience and her channel is still controversial ongoingly.

In more recent months, the drama regarding Nehema began to slow down, nevertheless, would still receive major criticisms due to still being accused of allegedly copying latest Gacha memes, and her content is still regarded as being deteriorated, as well as most of her viewers recently commenting sarcastically positive comments, often saying that controversies that Nehema have done in the past will be unforgettable.

Comeback

Nehema started posting regularly videos again on the September 2, 2023 after being inactive for more than a month. Many people thought she quit before she came back. A few days before her comeback she changed her banner and wrote there she will try to change.

On September 9, 2023, Nehema uploaded a video entitled “Original Vs Gacha Made by me”. This video received a lot of backlash, because many people thought the second part of the video was stolen, because it looked similar to an other version of the trend.
