My overall experience with Conejo Valley Unified School District has been good. There isn't anything notably bad that I have experienced. The best part of my experience in this district is the football games, the team spirit the school has. The worst part of my experience is probably the blatant disrespect that goes on on the campus. Hearing people say multiple different slurs that are incredibly offensive to specific groups was something I wish I did not have to hear. Im not sure how someone would go about changing the way someone talks, but I do think it needs to be changed to avoid anyone taking offense to other peoples language (One of those people that took offence was me, specifically with someone's use of the n-word).

The district lacks unity within the schools and does not keep consistent scheduling. According to teachers they are always waiting for the district to notify them about scheduling, and when they do it is always last minute. When this occurs the teachers are not able to properly continue with the curriculum for fear that we won't be able to complete it. They just need to be much more organized in general.

I go to Newbury Park high school. It's a nice campus and has some amazing people including teachers and staff. I am in the IB program and it's a great program to prepare me for college.
