8/24; Montana St @ New Mexico Under 53.5, 0.5 units. Missed the opener of 56.5 but still like it enough to put a half unit on it.
8/31; Fresno St @ Michigan Under 48, 0.5 units. Bulldogs play the big boys tough and until Wolv's show me a passing game that balances the offense my thoughts are grinder type game. And with Longhorns on deck don't expect anything but Wolv's looking to overpower Fresno St. with Bulldogs keying on stopping the run. Combine that with NCAA issues and Harbaugh as honorary captain and all I see is distractions.
9/7; Texas -3.5 @ Michigan; 0.5 units, maybe more on it later. This is Longhorns game to win. IMO, too early in the season with large turnover for Wolv's, advantage Horns.
9/7; Parlay; Texas -3.5 with Iowa -2.5 vs Iowa St, 0.3 units
IOWA OVER 5.5 REG SEASON HOME WINS +115, 0.5 units (win 6 of 7 home games) DK
If Hawkeyes get by Iowa St week 2 have a good chance here.
IOWA OVER 9 REG SEASON WINS +200, 0.5 units. DK
Two small plays on hawkeyes here and I like the odds. Hawkeyes bring back 8 starters on a great defense. Last year word from camp was offensive line struggles, so far word is offensive line holding it's own but QB play was lousy by McNamara and his backup. McNamara was showing good mobility after his injury from last yr though. What I hope for is a terrific defense with a game managing offense. Sloppy QB play correctable. So I dabbed a little here and let's see what happens.
Other news; Looks like Will Howard from Kansas St will be Ohio St starting QB. Buckeye offensive line has a virus going through it. Several players out last wk. Have to watch that issue.

Hard to say at this point. My guess would be Alex Orji may win out because he has legs too. Just a guess.
Talk is new OC Campbell may open up the offense more but I see the strength and experience is at running the ball. Maybe as season progresses they get comfortable opening things up.

HA!, just saw the three identical threads. Bad internet connection. Mods are cleaning it up, I hope.
It was also reported Michigan's offense won the battle vs defense on first full day of pads. I don't pay too much attention to that unless it continues.

Let me say this, seem to lose more bets when Michigan is involved.Guess I am too tough on them most of the time.
It will be interesting to see who emerges at QB. With Tuttle you have the more experienced game manager with an established ceiling and then inexperienced Orji with skys the limit. Tuttle has enough experience to avoid crash and burn where Orji could theoretically sky rocket or implode. Believe these two are #1 and #2.

I am expecting a heavy dose of the run game in their matchup with the 'Horns.
Lotta people are expecting Orji to start.

Michigan getting 3.5 vs Texas might be my favorite GOY line…

Ain't it funny how we don't think alike when it comes to Michigan. For me it's such a huge Mich turnover and it being game #2 that has me leaning Horns in Ann Arbor. Everything has to go right for new wolv OC and DC. Texas defense last yr was very good against the run, they lost some key players to NFL but did good via portal to replace. They also replaced WR's. So I see almost a stalemate in running game, slight advantage Mich, and that this point a bigger advantage Texas in passing game. It's the Michigan passing game that I see too many ???? marks right now.
At this point only a 1/2 unit play and I'll re-evaluate at beginning of season or after Game #1.
Go Michigan and you better not lose by 3 or less!
